"The mysterious world of the needlepins"

 

These images resemble macro photographs of bacteria and those of ice crystals: the untouched world at the microscopic level, of brilliant colour and light, of the innocent motive. We're looking at a strangely familiar narrative. The needlepins, hopefully, offer this same possibility. The needlepin world invites you to meander into your own collective cultural memory, into the compressed highlights of one's experience, into a chance moment of connection. Brandon Bullard´s "String-Theory" pictures were the inspiration for this series of images.
